I’m over at Dear Author with a review of Hunt the Stars by Jessie Mihalik. Fantastic start to a brand new space adventure romance series.

I’m over at AudioGals with a review of The AI Who Loved Me by Alyssa Cole, narrated by Regina Hall, Mindy Kaling, Feodor Chin, Therese Plummer, Dina Pearlman, Neil Hellegers, Adenrele Ojo and Kyla Garcia. This was fantastic. Hard recommend.
I’m over at Dear Author with a review of Aurora Blazing by Jessie Mihalik. A slowish start but once things get going, it’s a cracker. Recommend.
I’m over at Dear Author with a review of Polaris Rising by Jessie Mihalik. Tense and action-packed sci-fi space opera with a solid core of romance. I liked it a lot.
I’ll be posted my favourites out of the DA-reviewed books over there and my favourite audiobooks reviewed at AudioGals will be going up over there – but this is where I mention the books I read and loved and reviewed here. Most of my favourites this year were reviewed at Dear Author or AudioGalsĀ as it happens but there were two books which I reviewed only here and which stood out to me so much that they deserved to get a special mention.
Completely different books but both brilliant – and also: Australian for extra bonus points. You can read my review of Summer Skin here and of Illuminae here.
I wish you all the joy of the festive season. However you celebrate, if you celebrate, stay safe and stay strong. Catch you in 2017.

I’m over at AudioGals with a review of An Accidental Goddess by Linnea Sinclair, narrated by Amy Landon. Really good sci-fi romance which holds up very well considering the paperback was first published in 2005. I’ll definitely be hitting this author’s substantial backlist.
